The name gives it away, the first tournament of year and the one we normally do quite well in. Last year we came second and the previous year we won. Remember it’s all down to the early indoor sessions we have!

May 10-11 Diamond 1
Farnham Park, near Slough. Fun local tournament... Depend on weather, you can either camp or go home to your own cosy bed.

Jun 7-8 Diamond 2
Like Diamond 1 but hopefully better weather...

Jun 28-29 BA
BA Concorde Club, just off junction 3 of M4. No camping facilities here! You have no choice but to go home, freshen up, food and early night in preparation for Sundays finals.

Jul 12-13 Euroball
Eastleigh, near Southampton. This is a new tournament. Very good facilities for camping, but if the weather is iffy we can always do B&B.
European Championship is also taking place there from Tuesday. You will get the opportunity to see the final on Sunday. So if you want to see how Softball is really played, highly recommend you be there.

Jul 19-20 Windsor
Sonning, near Reading. This really is as local as it is going to get, unless of cause your name is Tracy! Tradition is we always camp here, unless of cause weather turns out like last year! If you camp please drink responsibly!

Aug 2-3 Diamond 3
Like Diamond 2 but hopefully even better weather...

Aug 16-17 Bristol Rec
One of the best tournaments. Again very good facilities for camping, but if the weather is iffy we go for B&B. Great Saturday night party!

Aug-31 BA Rec
BA Concorde Club, just off junction 3 of M4. This is a one day tournament, come, play, win, go home...

Sep 20-21 LastBall
Eastleigh, near Southampton. Again very good facilities for camping, but its late summer so chances are it will be B&B.
As the name suggest this is it, no more softball for 7 whole months. Get there to get your fix to last a until April 2009!

Deposits & Payment
A deposit of £5 is required on sign up, this will be collected by Tournament officer at a training session or on a game night.
The full tournament fee of £10 per day must be paid 4 weeks before the tournament and again the collection method as above.
Other expenses such as accommodation, food and transport are additional costs, this will be arranged nearer to the time of the tournament.
