NHL 2016/2017 Predictions

hockey-stadiumThis is definitely one I’m going to need all of your predictions and opinions on, click here to send me your prediction. Since I was a teenager, I’ve always made small bets with my friends on the standings of every team. Everyone in our circle was required to fill out a piece of paper, ranking every team in the position they personally predict they will be in at the end of the season; right before the playoffs. Each person was also required to pay $20 with their submission. Once the last game in the season arrived, we would tally up the results and the most accurate gambler would win the pool. If their was a tie then we would base it off the point’s of the teams chosen by the gambler; just like every other sport would.

Guess what, I never won…

I never did well with gambling, actually Murphy’s Law gets the best of me most of the time. Quite often I would gamble and get a good result the very first go, and then everything was downhill from there. Often I walk away from most chance games with less than I walked in with. I am a strong believer in calculated risks, but at the same time I tend to be very cautious with the decisions I make.

I’m still going to give my predictions though, feel free to send your over. No you do not have to pool in $20, it’s free and for fun.

Detriot Red Wings Are Gunna Win The Cup

This is completely my opinion, and it’s not because of stats or anything, I’ve just watched them dominate in a way that I have a lot of respect for. During their early days they were basically my teams rivals; being Canadian. However as I got older and hockey aged with me, I grew a lot of admiration for the Red Wings because of their consistency and hard work to be the best. Though their stats don’t beat a few other teams, I foresee a good future for the Detroit Red Wings.

Artem Anisimov Is Destined To Lead In Points

Artem Anisimovin his prime and ready to rock and roll, has caught my attention and many around me. He has implemented some crazy offensive techniques that have brought a steady stream of points to his team Chicago Black Hawks. With The Black Hawks leading the NHL in points, they are certainly on their way to have a successful season. Like The Red Wings I have gained a certain level of respect for these guys, though they knocked my team out of the playoffs on occasion, and became my enemy in the past.

Canucks Are Going To Do Horrible, As We All Thought

I don’t mean to be so negative but man, It’s just depressing. In the beginning  of this season I got so excited that they were going to prove the calculated predictions wrong and really do well for themselves, but nope. Things have started to tank and though it’s not over, they’ve got lots of work ahead of them to turn themselves around.
